My two biggest inspirations for horror films
Does anyone else think that it was intentional that John Carpenter copied the shot from “Night of the Living Dead” in “Halloween” ?
I know that “Night of the Living Dead” definitely inspired Carpenter, and his filmmaking..But has this particular shot ever been talked about?
Probably my favourite horror soundtrack. This is the 49 track complete version from the U.S. version of the 1978 classic!
Since I know that this will literally never happen again : this is me when I was thirteen years old at the Monroeville Mall in front of JC Penney from Dawn of the Dead. This mall means a lot to me, as Dawn of the Dead was the movie that made me want to make horror movies. Without Dawn of the Dead, I would have never learned who Tom Savini is, or George Romero, or every single other horror director/writer that I know.
I was thirteen when I first watched Dawn of the Dead, since then I have :
- Gone to the Monroeville Mall (from Toronto, Canada)
- Met Leonard Lies (Machete Zombie)
- Met Tom Savini
- Met Sharon Ceccatti (Nurse Zombie)
- Met George Romero

This is one of the weirdest covers for Dawn of the Dead..
okay i thought of something to do
I’m going to find George Romero’s cameos
